Our basic income comes from membership subscriptions although we do accept additional financial donations.

STOCK

Some stock comes in occasionally or as a one-off, we will make all efforts to share the rarer stock and as such will ask members to take a limited amount of these items depending on our supply.

We try not to limit the amount you take, but trust that members will not abuse this liberty.  We expect the amount you take to reflect the membership you paid for e.g:

We do not guarantee the supply of any material, WRAP is not an art shop.  Our stock is all bi-products/left-overs/waste.  We ration it in order to give all our members a fair share.

If you genuinely need a large quantity of a particular item we try to help, or to suggest alternatives.  Please ask if you are uncertain.

As members of WRAP you have a responsibility to all other members, please do not be greedy or take what you do not need.

If you are generating income from resale of our material you may jeopardise our status as a charity.

We appreciate acknowledgment in work you exhibit.

Do not take away art/craft on display. They have been made or given to help give ideas about what to do with the materials and may not belong to WRAP. It can cause embarrassment if we are unable to explain to someone that their property has been taken!

We would be happy to have examples of objects or photographs from your projects.

All materials are taken at your own risk and should be handled responsibly.

Do not take items of equipment, they are provided for all to use and are constantly required.

Please respect areas marked as restricted to staff.

WRAP IS ENTIRELY DEPENDENT ON WORK DONE BY VOLUNTEERS

While it might look like "an Aladdins Cave", none of WRAP is achieved by magic and all of it is done by hard work!  Everything that arrives at WRAP is processed/stacked/displayed and is done by volunteers. Please be considerate of efforts made to assist your visit to WRAP. Members needs and rates vary and volunteers try to respond proportionately to requirements.  We try to maintain a pleasant  atmosphere for all volunteers and members, and as rudeness detracts from such, it will not be tolerated. If you act in a way which is injurious to the character of WRAP we reserve the right to withdraw your membership or not renew it.
